Salman’s co-star Kunickaa in Hum Saath Saath Hain files case against Bishnoi Community

Salman’s co-star Kunickaa in Hum Saath Saath Hain files case against Bishnoi Community
The blackbuck poaching case that involves the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan goes on after 20 years. Bollywood star Salman Khan was shooting for the movie Hum Saath Saath Hai in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Well-wishers spoke up in support of Salman that he should be given bail right away. However, the Bollywood superstar was given bail after spending 2 days in jail. Other stars including Tabu, Neelam, Saif Ali Khan, and Sonali Bendre were acquitted.
Salman’s co-star from the movie Hum Saath Saath Hain, Kunickaa Sadanand played the role of an evil aunt. However, now Kunickaa Sadanand filed a case against the Bishnoi Community. The reason for filing to the case is different. Last week Salman’s co-star showed up in a TV debate amidst the entire Salman Khan controversy. She was giving a reply supporting why Salman should not be punished.
“During television debates on the blackbuck poaching case, I was advocating that instead of punishing Salman, the Bishnoi community should use him as an example and not oppose the bail. Ideally, he should be made to do some work for the community, like breeding black bucks, adopting a jungle, etc. On one such panel discussion last week, I said that even Bishnois are hunters. I wanted to add that just like there are non-vegetarians in vegetarian communities, likewise but I was interrupted by the anchor.”
Kunickaa had no idea that after the show she would receive several phone calls from the Bishnoi Community. Here is what the actress has said:
“A person called Santosh Bishnoi called me and wanted me to apologize for what I had said on television and I agreed, as I had no proof about Bishnois being non-vegetarian; I had only heard about it from a man in Kota. However, the phone calls did not stop, there were messages on Facebook, too. They threatened to file a case against me. By then, I’d had enough and I posted a video online, apologizing for my statement. I also talked about the harassment.”

The Hum Saath Saath Hain star filed a case against the Bishnoi Community. She said “I filed a case under Section 507 against the Bishnoi community. I handed over all the details, including the numbers from which I received the calls, and screenshots of the lewd messages. They have leaked my address and phone numbers on social media and violated my privacy. I have got police protection, now it is up to them to take action.”
