If film director narrates the story, it helps me absorb the pitch better, says Vidya Balan
Tumhari Sulu actress Vidya Balan has bagged the special tag as one of the most versatile actresses in Bollywood.
With her most successful flicks such as The Dirty Picture, Parineeta, Kahaani, Ishqiya and lots others, Vidya Balan has proved and showcased her acting skills.
In a special interview with media people, the superstar disclosed that she likes when her film director tells the tale of the film.

She added that this assists her in comprehending the film story in a better way.
The Dirty Picture actress stated, “I really enjoy the process of narrations. If a director narrates the story to me, I am more than happy, because you get a sense of how the director is seeing the film and whether you (actor) see the film in the same way. So I like to take my time to actually know. It helps you absorb the pitch better. Sometimes someone narrates so beautifully that you are blown away by the narration itself rather than the story.”

In the meantime, after witnessing positive response for Vidya’s last offering Tumhari Sulu, the actress has also got a biographical movie projected based on ex Prime Minister of the country, Indira Gandhi.
The film will be a screen edition of press officer Sagarika Ghose’s most successful book Indira: India’s Most Powerful Prime Minister.

While talking over it, the most successful actress stated, “I am happy to have acquired the rights to Sagarika Ghose’s ‘Indira…’, because I have always wanted to play Indira Gandhi. I haven’t decided yet whether it should be a film or a web series, but that will take a while anyway.”
Now, a top-notch tabloid stated that the bold actress has been roped in for one more flick, which is a gangster movie by Jyoti Kapur Das.

The report added that the film’s director has beforehand helmed a super hit short movie with the name Chutney that got released during the year 2016.
Discussing the project, a source close to the matter said, “Set in the murky world of crime, the drama sees the leading lady as a grey character. The role is that of a strong-minded woman who is almost a crime overlord. After Jyoti finished penning the script, Vidya was the first name that came to her mind. Given the kind of author-backed roles that she has done, the actress would be a perfect fit for the character.”
