‘Tum Jaise Gye Aise Bhi Jata Nhi Koi’ Says Big B after Sridevi’s Funeral
The Indian Film Industry is still in big shock after the sudden demise of Sridevi. The last rites of the actress were performed yesterday in Mumbai. Apart from the Kapoor family, almost every person belonging to the film fraternity is still mourning. Bollywood Legend Amitabh Bachchan is one of them who has been tweeting continuously since the day of Sridevi’s death.
Almost every big name of B’town was present at Celebration Sports Club, Mumbai yesterday where they paid last respects to the legendary actress. Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Sushmita Sen, Shahid Kapoor etc were spotted. After coming back from the funeral, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan made a tweet which is piercing our hearts in bits.
He wrote,
“Rehne ko sda Dehar mein aata nhi koi,
Tum jaise Gye aise jata nhi koi
Dehar means the world.
Javed Akhtar narrated this sher to me at funeral of Sridevi .. said it was written at time of Guru Dutt demise ; but so appropriate for today ..”
T 2729 -
"रहने को सदा देहर में आता नहीं कोई
तुम जैसे गये ऐसे भी जाता नहीं कोई"~ कैफ़ि आज़मी.

देहर - means .. the world .
Javed Akhtar narrated this sher to me at funeral of Sridevi .. said it was written at time of Guru Dutt demise ; but so appropriate for today ..
Before Sridevi’s mortal remain was brought to India for performing last rites, Big B was only posting tweets about love. Check them out:
The night Sridevi died, Big B had posted the following tweet:
T 2625 - न जाने क्यूँ , एक अजीब सी घबराहट हो रही है !!
People were baffled and wondered if he already had an intuition about her death.

Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi had worked together Khuda Gawah, Aakhree Raasta, and Inquilaab.  Big B had also made a special appearance in Sridevi’s comeback film English Vinglish, which released in 2012.
