10 Bollywood Films Where Animals Gained our Attention more than the Actors
Actors are considered the backbone of any film. They are supposed to be the ones who drag the audience to cinema halls. However, the supporting roles to have a big role to play. Sometimes, they overshadow the lead actor’s character. There have been times when an animal played a supporting role and got our attention more than the actors did.
Here’s a list of 10 such films:

1- Entertainment:

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Entertainment’ might have been a film with fewer logics and lots of overacting. However, it was fun to watch all that drama. What we loved the most was the fact that the Dog was the main hero of the film. The storyline was how Akshay and the dogfight over property issues since Akshay’s biological father pledged all his wealth to the dog before dying.

2- Maine Pyar Kiya:

Remember the song ‘Kabootar Ja Ja’ from classic film Maine Pyaar Kia? There is an entire song which addresses to a pigeon and guess what? It became extremely popular too. In the song, Bhagyashree requests the pigeon to deliver her love letter to Salman Khan. Not just this, the pigeon had an important role in climax as well.

3- Hum Aapke Hain Koun:

Hum Aapke Hai Kaun is one classic film of all times. Remember the dog named Tuffy? Well, if there had not been this dod, Salman and Madhuri’s love story would have remained incomplete and there wouldn’t have been a happy ending.

4- Hathi Mere Sathi:

The film is about the unconditional love between an elephant and a boy. The elephant got so attached to the boy that he saved the boy’s life from the leopard. The elephant even sacrificed his own life to mend the relationship between his master and his wife?

5- Nagina:

Late actress Sridevi’s film Nagina was loved by the audience. In the film, she played the role of an Iccha Dhari Naagin.

6- Life Of Pi:

The film is based on the relationship between a boy named Pi, and a tiger named Richard. The fantasy drama scared you initially but made you emotional by the end.

7- Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon:

Well, this film had two animals that stole away all our attention from Hrithik and Kareena. The whole film was a blunder, courtesy the overacting of the leads. The hyperactive parrot, and the overactive dog though brought a little smile on our face.

8- Coolie:

Remember Mr. Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic film Coolie? There was a dialogue in the film which says, “Bachpan se hai sar par Allah ka haath, aur Allah Rakha hai mere saath…”
Allah Rakha was the name of an Eagle which played a very important role in the film. Believe it or not, but the eagle even saved the life of the character played by Amitabh Bachchan.

9- Sholay:

Even if you are not a Bollywood lover, you must have heard of film Sholay and there are very high chances that you have seen it too. And there are certain dialogues and characters from the film that have made a home in our mind and hearts. Do we really need to introduce Dhanno to you?
Dhanno played a really important role in the film and Hema Malini’s dialogue “Chal Dhanno aaj teri Basanti ki izzat ka sawal hai…”  explains it all.

10- Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na:

Remember the film’s beautiful song ‘Aditi’? Before we watched the film, we kept wondering that why Genelia is so pissed at Imraan and how romantically he is trying to bring a smile on her face.
Later, we came to know that the whole song revolved around a cat.
