Padman Movie Review: Akshay Kumar’s film is an eye-opener for everyone

Padman Movie Review: Akshay Kumar’s film is an eye-opener for everyone
Cast: Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Radhika Apte
Director: R Balki
So, one and all had this troublesome uncertainty in mind if the movie addressing chums, Pad Man, would be an appealing one. In the meantime, Sonam Kapoor during an interview had stated that ‘You won’t lose interest in the film for a minute’.
The initial half of the flick keeps you occupied. And just when audiences think for a few minutes after the intermission, with the cold drink and eatables in your mouth, that the film director is missing the grip— enters the cute Sonam and the movie moves upwards to a very, very high point.
Akki is exceptional and ‘Award toh banta hai’ is mein’ for his audacity of donning such a character. The actor could have skidded in one scene, and you would have heatedly recognized him as a joker- the topic is so responsive. But the actor strolls on the tightrope and emerges with melodramatics that turn you whistle in delight. And his words in New York in Linglish (yes, not English or Hinglish as his name begins with L in the film!) is worthy of an enthusiastic recognition.
Radhika Apte is sparkling. She is just lava of great talent. Check her out in the scene where she crumbles to question Akshay’s common sense. Watch Radhika in the special scene where Akki calls her and the telephone drops from her hand. Enjoy the scene where she asks Akki that why has he got so gripped with his task of providing cleanliness between the legs to females.
Balki grasps the topic like a chief. His major triumph is the pathway between Akki and Sonam, and it makes you with a lump in the gullet. You just don’t wish them to disconnect, and frankly speaking, you don’t wish the movie to come to an end. However, do they truly separate? At the present, that’s for you to make out.
Team Pad Man- Akshay Kumar, the two babes, head of the ship and the makers Prernaa Arora & Twinkle Khanna- are worthy of appreciation for offering us a levelheaded and enjoyable movie.
Sonam Kapoor is wonderful. Her recital is the best of her profession thus far. Yes, she dons this better than her Neerja role.
All in all, Akshay delivers yet another content driven movie which has got a beautiful social message and also creates awareness for the same with a dash of comedy and humour.
Padman surely deserves 4 Stars.
