IFFI 2017: When Akshay called Big B Bollywood’s ‘angry young man’
Hindi film industry’s superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who was honored with the highly appreciated ‘Indian Film Personality of the Year Award’ at the concluding ceremonial of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on November 28, has expressed the special time as one that he shall never put out of his mind.
In his reward approval speech at the closing ceremonial of the 2017 version of the International Film Festival of India, Big B shared how movies is one of the most suitable instances of harmony and assimilation in a speedy and moldy planet like ours.
“I have always felt that my respect and regard for the Indian film industry has rested in the presence that the film industry has had in our world. When we sit inside a darkened hall, we never ask for caste, creed, colour or the religion of the person sitting next to us is,” Amit Ji stated.
Celebrating the illustrious contribution of @SrBachchan ji to the world of cinema, it is our privilege to honour him with Indian Film Personality of the Year at .
“Yet, we see the same film, we laugh at the same jokes, we cry at the same emotion, we sing the same songs. In this fast disintegrating world of today, where can you find such a wonderful and worthy example of unity and integration as you do in the world of cinema,” Big B asked.

Mentioning a film-related story involving his dad and immense Hindi writer Harivanshrai Bachchan, Big B stated, “I once asked my father what do you getting watching films on TV every evening. He said: ‘I get to see poetic justice in three hours. You and I will see poetic justice in perhaps a lifetime’.”
America has Batman, Spider-Man, Superman...but India and my superhero is our very own Angry Young Man, @SrBachchan Sir, rightly the Indian Personality of the Year ! 
The well-known celebrity was rewarded for his wonderful input to the Bollywood. Amitabh also made use of his personal blog to express thanks towards Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani, who awarded the honor to him at the 48th edition of IFFI.

Khiladi Kumar, who was also there at the occasion, rewarded the 75-year-old by stating that whilst America had Batman, Spider Man and India has Angry Young Man (Big B).
