Producer Graham King on "Tomb Raider" Reboot

Producer Graham King on Tomb Raider Reboot
During the press conference for "Hugo," producer Graham King spoke about the upcoming "Tomb Raider" reboot, which is being written by "Iron Man" scribes Mark Fergus and Hawk Otsby, and is tentatively set for a 2013 release.

King said that the script was recently turned in and the plan is to begin production next year. "There's something about her character and going back to her roots, and that's what we’re doing with this," he explained. "You're actually gonna meet her before she has all her powers as Lara Croft. It's more of a character study, but it's a really fun, fun adventure story."

King recently worked with Angelina Jolie on "The Tourist" and her directorial debut "In the Land of Blood and Honey." When asked whether there will be room for the actress to appear in the reboot, the producer said: "I don’t know. We've spoken about 'Tomb Raider' and we'll have to see.
