James Cameron on Converting "Titanic" to 3D

Video: James Cameron on Converting Titanic to 3DJames Cameron has been converting his massively popular "Titanic" film to 3D in order to re-release the film in theaters. Today we have a video of the director talking about the conversion process and what the film may mean to audiences 15 years after its original release.

Cameron claims to be doing the conversion for all the people who were not old enough to see "Titanic" on the big screen. And believes that those who have already seen it may take away something different from it.

"Titanic" hit theaters back in 1997 and became the highest-grossing film of all time, only to be beaten by Cameron's "Avatar." It received a record eleven Academy Awards, including Best Picture. The re-release is set to hit 3D and IMAX 3D theaters on April 6th.
